Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWhat does it mean when the big green leaves have some yelowish discoloration in them and have some little holes in them? Not all the leaves are like that. I also have it in my covered patio. Does it need to have more sunlight? I feel like I give it too much water. I live in Phoenix, AZ so our summers are very hot, so I keep it out of the direct sunlight.

Some yellowing is normal on a hibiscus, but if you feel this is alot, this article will help you pinpoint what might be causing it for your plant:

The holes could be from a fungus (which might also cause yellow leaves) or pests. I would treat the plant with neem oil. It is organic and kills both fungus and pests that might be on the plant. This article will help:
