My fig tree looks healthy but a few days before harvest the bottom of the fruit becomes brown

The fig tree is about 10 years, up to a couple years ago gave us beautiful and delicious fruits, now still gives fruits (less ) but a few days before harvest, the fruit becomes brown on the bottom, the eye opens, bugs penetrate and the fruit falls down. Is this tree sick ? Thank you for your attention to this matter

Without seeing the damage, I would have to guess that one of two things is happening.

This could be due to fungal infection. This can be the case if it has been overly wet, or has not been allowed to dry out thoroughly between waterings. A fungicide can be used to treat the issue. It could, also, be from a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Dolomitic lime will solve this issue.
