My Azaleas Have Golden Brownish Leaves, Is This Normal at This Time of Year

Are brownish green leaves normal on azaleas this time of year,  and if not, what needs to be done to them? We fertilized after the blooms faded last year. Not for sure if they need something done to them or if the winter cold has just affected the leaves.

If you have had a rather cold winter, than this will do this to azaleas. They will be fine and will regrow new leaves in the spring.
