My Aprium tree is producing very few leaf shoots

My tree is about 4 or 5 years old and until now has been doing beautifully. I got fruit in the third year and last year got a lot of delicious fruit with very little pruning. This year I pruned a bit more extensively and now my tree is not putting out leaves. I think there are three small shoots. Did I prune too late? (Dec. I think)

Here is a rather extensive article on fruit tree pruning from UC Davis: http://homeorchard.ucdavis.edu/8057.pdf [1]
You’ll note that they recommend summer pruning for apricot trees in California to prevent eutypa dieback; I wonder if this is what happened to your tree. You might want to consult with the Extension Service to get their analysis and recommendations; this link will help you locate one: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/extension-search/ [2]
