My Four O’Clock flowers are purple. I grow them from seed drop. I took some of my seeds to a friend across the street and he planted

them they came up in White, Yellow, Red, Purple. He planted his on the East side of his house and I planted mine on the West and S outh Side.Why is his colored and mine are all purple?

Four O’Clocks have the ability to change color and that may have happened. Or they may have reverted to original parentage. They are very colorful and can have different colors on the same stem.

I would harvest some of his seeds and see what you get in colors.
