Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy globe willow is 25 years old and for the past couple of years there have been mushrooms growing out of a hole in the tree. I have been pulling them out and they stay gone for quite a while, but then I will see them again. What does this mean and how can I get rid of them forever?

It is possible that the tree has developed some rotting from sitting water or a fungal infection within the hole, which is causing the mushroom growth. Try cleaning out the hole and check for moisture. Then treat with a fungicide to see it this helps.
