Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHi, This year i had a few garlics growing exposed cloves, And some cloves had 4 or more small cloves inside. I did grow some garlic from the seed heads allso a few new types of garlic bought on travels, It only happened on this red variety, If it was grown from seed, Might it grow normal garlic next year, ,,,Plus possibly more of a worry, was that i had a patch where the leaves had a small amount of rust spots, Do i change position, Or add soething to the soil, Thanks very much,, John in Gloucester Ps you can just about make ot theweird shape on clove in second picture, thanks

Your garlic, definitely, has a fungal infection. Without treatment, this is what you expect every year.
Fungicides will be necessary, and if that does not work- Try solarizing your soil.
