Moving Plants To Another Spot Best Time

Have some hibiscus, swamp weed, mum want to move to another spot. This is zone 5/6. Also any rule of thumb for plants in general.

Generally, if it blooms in the spring, it is best to move them in fall. But they need 6 to 8 weeks before winter for roots to establish.

If the plant blooms in summer, you can move it in spring. All of those you mention bloom in summer so you can wait till spring to move them.
