Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHow do I keep the moss alive, green, and growing? Does the moss need north light, a special rainwater misting, or fertilizer? Any moss I have here in California seems to turn brown in the summer, even with moisture. These moss balls are lovely, and I do want to make some! Thanks. Chris

Watering can be done by submerging the ball into a container of water and allowing it to absorb the water, then they can drain excess water after being hung back up.
The moss will become brown if exposed to a lot of sunlight.
Light conditions will depend on the plant that you have used.
