Monkey Grass

My neighbor planted monkey grass on her fenceline and now it is spreading into my yard faster than I can pull it out. Someone suggested that I dig up the the fence line and put a barrier in, but my yard slopes toward the fence and I’m worried about drainage. And the monkey grass has grown through the weed cloth that was put down. Any suggestions on a barrier or whatever else I could do?

A rubber or plastic edging barrier would work. They normally sell them at the big box stores in rolls. You can also use boiling water on the escaped plants. Boiling water will kill any plant that it comes in contact with, so make sure if you use it, it only hits the plants that you want to kill.
