Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have white mold growing in my flower beds. The mold is on the dirt and not on the flowers. I am using compost. Could this be the problem? I am growing roses, irises and tulips.

It is likely a fungus and, yes, the compost is the likely culprit. Excess moisture encourages it to grow. You can treat the area with the problem with a fungicide. This will help remove it.
