Manure and top soil in when we planted foxtail plam

We just planted a foxtail Palm we put manure and top soil in before we planted the palm will that kill the palm

When you say manure, do you mean fresh manure or composted manure. If the manure was properly composted, you should be ok. Foxtail Palm like a nitrogen rich fertilizer.
Raw manure or unfertilized may be to hot and burn roots.
