Mango Tree Leaves Turning Yellow

I bought a mango tree. There already flowers in the tree. I took from pot and place in the ground after two weeks leaves turning yellow. I’m watering every day when place in the ground I add mushroom compost and soil half and half I don’t know what to do around the tree there is grass. Any tips to fix please thanks

It is being overwatered. You will only need to water once the soil dries to about 3 inches, completely. After it takes to the soil in about a month, you will only water once the soil is dry down to about 6 inches, or more. Usually, by this time, unless there is a drought, you won't need to water anymore.

Overwatering will prevent the tree from adjusting to its spot. It is important to allow it some time to breathe between watering. If you are not able to correct watering by judgement, there are soil moisture meters that will tell you when it is time to water. Just stick the probe down to the appropriate soil depth and see if it is in need of water.
