Madagascar Jasmine Leaves Yellowing

I’ve had a Madagascar jasmine for several years now and every year during Autumn when there is a sudden drop in temperature some leaves turn yellow. Although I keep it inside, the temp. drop is still felt quite a lot.(living in England,UK) This year it seems too many leaves are turning yellow. I water it much less now,when about 5cm on top has dried off. Can’t see any pests either. I have attached picture here as well. Is this normal?
