Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWe live on the Potomac River (brackish water) that occasionally floods a few inches. I need to establish a natural border ranging 80 feet that will grow fast in direct sunlight and not be killed by occasional brackish water. I was thinking Red Tips but I’m concerned that they do best in dry conditions. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There are many things that you can plant in wet areas. Some provide privacy but aren't necessarily shrubs. This article will get you started: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/water-plants/wgen/water-tolerant-plants.htm [1]
