Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHi, I’ve grown my lemon tree from seed and cut it back a couple of times over the past two years however it’s recently had a growth spurt and I’m unsure how to cut it back now so that I don’t harm it. Ideally I’d like to encourage it to grow outwards instead of upwards! I’ve attached photos and any help would be very much appreciated

If your tree is spindly and tall, it is reaching for sunlight and probably needs to be moved to a sunnier location. Here's an article with tips on how to prune a lemon tree:
