Lemon and Lime Trees

Question

My Lime tree is in perfect condition, on the other hand, my lemon tree looked the same and in less than a week the leaves turned yellow, 75% of them fell off and it is struggling. Both plants are in a grow room for the winter under grow lights and are fed, watered and fertilized the same. Did see a couple of fruit flies, so sprayed both plants with soapy water just in case. Did not see any other bugs on either plants. I am now out of fertilizer and want to change what I had, because I threw away the box and don’t remember what it was. I am not a scatterbrain, have had to move from one state to another, lost my husband, and am in the process of remodeling a house my son & I purchased together. Everything is a bit overwhelming, at present so could use some help. My trees have more than doubled in size since I bought them 5 months ago and I don’t want to lose them. Citrus can be a little tricky to keep alive in container. My first suggestion would be to feed them only once per month. They are, actually, not heavy feeders. My other suggestion would be to have both dolomitic lime and iron sulphate always on hand. These are prone to wild pH swings, and these two products will ensure that everything stays in range. Plus the sulphur will help with the fruiting process when they are ready. Most of the time, the problems I see with citrus are caused by the pH getting out of hand. Just use these two, and you will sove most of your issues, while preventing even more.
