Leaves Not Dropping On Chimonanthus Praecox

My
Chimonanthus praecox
has never bloomed. It used to be in full-sun, now in dappled sun. Leaves haven’t dropped & it has never bloomed

Our experts say that it can take up to fourteen years for this shrub to produce flowers. The soil it's growing in needs to be well-draining. It may be time to prune the plant, as well. Check out the growing conditions noted in this article:

You may want to snip a leaf or two and consult with your local agricultural extension agency or local gardening center.
