Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have various petunias and other annuals and I am starting from cuttings, I used as healthy as stems as I could find on the plants, they are all doing well and were started a few weeks ago, but they are starting to grow leaves is this a problem before they are well rooted? I cannot seem to find the answer to this question anywhere

I don’t see it as a problem, in fact, I thought new leaves meant roots had developed. Here is a fact sheet with more information:
