Large More Vigorous New Shoot Not Weeping Taking Over Pink Weeping Young Tree

how should i manage ? should i just let it go back to its original state? my young weeping cherry are grafted onto an upright trunk of a compatible cherry. A large new shoots has arisen from the trunk below the grafts will and not exhibit the weeping growth pattern and are taking over the tree. will i kill the tree if i take off the large branch that’s growing straight up with now white blossoms and new extensions should i remove the pink weeping branches

Remove suckers as soon as you see them. I suggest removing the large branch that is coming from below the graft before it takes over the tree.
