Can you use this fiery red plant to replace your lawn. To be be used as a softer alternative to dirt or wood chips?

I don’t see why you couldn’t. Just be aware that it can become highly invasive, and kill off other species in the area. As long as you are prepared to handle this, then I don’t see why not.
