It appears to be Myxarium nucleatum, which is a species of slime mold. It is commonly found in forested areas and feeds on decaying organic matter. Myxarium nucleatum has a gelatinous appearance and can vary in color, ranging from white to yellow or orange. It typically forms small, cushion-like structures called sporocarps, which contain spores that are released for reproduction. This slime mold plays a role in the decomposition of dead plant material and contributes to nutrient cycling in forest ecosystems. There is no need to treat this, as it is beneficial to your trees.
