jasmine groundcover

I have some jasmine groundcover that is growing in my azaleas. At on time the groundcover grew around the area of the azaleas with me trying to control it. But now I have removed the groundcover a couple of years ago. But there is ground cover growing in the shrubs. I try pulling (breaking) it out/off, but no luck. Help!

You will need to carefully remove the vine from your plants.

A small garden shears or garden scissors may help with this task.
