I’ve Grown Lenten Roses (Helebores) For Years In Different Locations In PEast Tennessee…very Hardy, Easy To Grow. I Was Given A

new Lenten Rose last year, planted it separately from my other plants and it thrived all summer. It is now December. I just noti ced tgat a green variegated leaf plant is now thriving where my Lenten Rose was. I don’t see that the Lenten Rose plant at all. My question: should I dig up the invasive plant and see if I can find the Lenten Rose or wait until spring to see if my Lenten Ro se comes back? The picture attached is the invasive plant.

Unfortunately, your photo didn't come through. Lenten rose is evergreen so it should still be visible, even though another plant is growing alongside. You may want to carefully pull up or dig up the invasive plant to remove it.
