It Is A Comment: Purslane Is An Edible Green. It Is Very Tasty.

Hi, purslane is not a weed, it is a very tasty green, much used in Mexican cuisine. It has a slightly bitter green taste, such as spinach. How to prepare/cook, family of about 4 to 6: Gather a large amount, about 5 to 10 plants, leave the root and thicker branch to continue growing. Remove the leaves from the stem. Steam the leaves in a little water with a little salt, garlic and pepper. When the leaves are cooked/steamed, sautee with cubed onion, tomato, chilli flakes. Add “suero sal” ir milk and some cheese. You may also add some fresh made beans. So good!

Thank you! Yes, we have articles on its edibility, as well! It is important that we list ways to kill, or grow, all plants. Any plant has the potential to become invasive if given the proper environment, so we must give information for those who suffer the consequences of this plant becoming invasive. It would be unfair to others to leave this important information out.
