Isn’t The Sago Palm Highly Toxic?

In your article on cold tolerant indoors plants, wish you had mentioned TWO things-first these are plants that are COOL tolerant–not COLD–and secondly, the sago palm is highly toxic and can hurt/kill children, dogs, and cats….

Yes, the Sago is toxic to pets, and I will pass this along to our editors.

As for cool versus cold- Unfortunately, that may be a relative term! Somebody in the tropics may consider 30F cold, where as some in northern areas will consider 30 to be very mild. I will be best to refer to the exact temperature which will be labeled along side of the reference.
