Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI live in the desert area of Temecula California on 5 acres of Orange groves. My parents typically use monsanto products to get rid of weeds. I am looking for a natural alternative. Hoping there are plants (ground covers, any suggestions)that actually overtake weeds if there is such a thing. Lots of weeds!!! Thank you!

This article has lots of tips for alternative ways to kill weeds, but it depends upon what kinds of weeds are growing there. https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/weeds/using-organic-herbicides.htm [1]

I would contact your local university extension service to see if there's a recommended natural weed killer used in your area for this purpose.
