Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comLast week I started grafting Japanese maples! 5 days later I see root hairs growing, but I also see white cream colored balls growing on some of the new clippings. Is that a disease or new root growth? I am using a turbo clone machine! Please help guide me. Thank you.

I’m not an expert in grafting by any means, but I’m not quite seeing how you would be using a “turbo clone machine” in grafting. Do you mean you are using it to root seedlings? I’m not sure what the balls are, but I would suspect a fungus. I found a couple of articles that you might find informative:
