IS MUSHROOM MULCH GOOD FOR PREPPING YARD PRIOR TO AERATION AND RE-SEEDING

YARD IS HEAVILY DAMAGED FROM WEED/FEED APPLICATIONS DURING SUMMER MONTHS. MANY BARE SPOTS AND VERY LITTLE RAIN IN LAST MONTH. RESEEDING WILL BE WITH FESCUE GRASS SEEDS BECAUSE OF SHADE OVER YARD

It can be a good application for this, actually. Having a low nutrient content, and often many beneficial fungus present, this can work just fine.
