planting vegetable garden

Is it safe to plant a vegetable garden where previous owner kept a pet pig? Previous owner kept a pet pig in the backyard over a year ago. Wondering if it safe to plant a vegetable garden in the area.

If the pig lived there 1 year ago the manure would have likely composted out by now.
In all likely you will have a wonderful garden location with good soil.
You could have the garden soil tested to see if you need to make any adjustments.
