Iris Bulbs Already Sprouting Should I Separate And Replant?

I had to remove all the soil from garden beds that were infested with an invasive weed. Along with the soil came all my Iris bulbs (in large entangled clumps) The bulbs are sprouting. I will fill the garden boxes with new soil. What is your advise with the bulbs? Should I tease them apart and replant? Should I keep them in garage in dark before I do that? Since they are already out of the ground, you might as well get them apart. Go ahead and plant them, since they are ready to go.This isn't usually the best time to transplant them, but it won't kill them. They may or may not flower this year, but you'll want to get them in the ground.
