Insects in pope John Paul ii roses

I recently purchased the Pope John Paul white fragrant rose plant and within two weeks I have the most beautiful roses with an amazing fragrance. But I noticed insects on it. Is it because of the fragrance? What should I do to control the insect attack? Thanks for your time and info.

No it is not the fragrance, roses can have some insect problems just like other plants. Spray the rosebush down with a good insecticide such as Bayer Advanced Complete Insecticide and that should get a handle on the bug problems.
