indeterminate tomatoes

Indeterminate tomatoes cutting back restart with flowering suckers. I live in the Arizona desert where summer temperatures stop the flowering of tomatoes. However, I am growing indeterminate types. I have been snipping off the suckers and am wondering come August is I can cut off the top single stems and use the flowering sucker as regrowth. I am using the Texas type growing style where I wrap strong twine around a single stem and let it climb up to a crossover support clipping off all suckers.

Currently certain suckers are flowering. Thank you for your consideration of my question.
