Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comThank you very much for sending me the way to start planting a Gardenia from cuttings. I’ve applied the method and it was successful. But I have a question which is: How to implant those baby gardenias in to my garden? I tried with one of them, but it died. So what should be the conditions for implanting a baby gardenia with small roots?

We’re glad to have been helpful in propagating your gardenia. If you have been growing this new cutting indoors, you may first want to harden it off before planting it out. This article will help with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/seeds/how-to-harden-off-your-seedlings.htm [1] Once hardened, you can plant the baby in its new location, making sure the area is suitable for its growing needs. Here is more info on the plant’s growing conditions: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/gardenia/gardenia-plant.htm [2] Likewise, you can choose to grow the plant in a container until it gets some more size to it and stronger root system.
