Impatiens

Are they a plant that only lasts for one summer or can they be regrown every year
like in winter when the leaves drop can they somehow be kept? Thanks.

Many gardeners do grow Impatiens as annuals but they are actually tender perennials.

You can take cuttings in the fall and grow them to have new plants in the spring.
