If I Used Richgro Rose/Camellia Plus Fert’r On Chillies Are They Safe To Eat?

I note the Osmocote version is listed by Bunnings as ‘Safe for vegetables’ but it did not say so for the Richgro one, which I have already used. It created plenty of growth and chillies but now I am concerned about eating them. Please advise. Thankyou.

Richgro also has fertilizers specifically for vegetables but using one for shrubs shouldn't affect the plant's edibility. The shrub fertilizer does contain sulfur but that is very low toxicity to humans and is used regularly on crops.
