If I Cut The Main Plant’s Tube In Half, Can Both Continue To Grow If I Plant The Top End (tube) With Its Leaves

This is very tall elephant ears grown in the tropics which needs relocation. It’s already had bulbs separated this the mother plant. Can I cut it in half (tube) and grow both ends?

Not likely. You could dig out the mother plant and relocate it like that!
