Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI received a Gardenia plant that was beautiful. I start finding worm like insects. I have tried different sprays and gone to nurseries but have not been able to clean them out. If I took the plant and washed off all the dirt and replaced it, how should I go about it?

Pretty much as you said it, really. Take the plant out, shake off the soil and gently rinse the rootball under cool water. Do no scrub the roots. Then repot it in clean soil.
If you will be using the same pot to repot, you may want to wash the pot with bleach. Allow it to dry for a hour or so before repotting in it and do not allow the roots on the plant to go dry while you are doing this.
