hibiscus growth

I pruned my perennial hibiscus late last summer. It is in a pot; when should I start seeing some life from it? The pot was kept in an unheated garage and the root area was covered with leaves.

You should see some growth around late spring/early summer in most areas. Generally the plant needs consistent temperatures above 65 degrees Fahrenheit to start growing again.
