cucumber plants blooming but no cucumbers

I planted 6 cucumber plants in April. It is now June. The plants are blooming but no cucumbers are setting. When will I began to see some cucumbers? I live in the city so I don’t have many bees so I have tried self pollinating with a very small artist brush touching from bloom to bloom.

If your pollination efforts were successful, you should see fruit appear within a few days. Keep trying, being a bee is not easy. Here’s some more information on hand pollinating: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/cucumber/hand-pollinating-cucumbers.htm [1]
