I have Thuja green giant small trees in tubs ready for planting; how often do I water them in the tubs and how do I space them to make

a thick hedge quickly. I need a hedge quickly to block out the south westerly winds and also for privacy. I would like to know how far from my property line at rear of garden ( I do not have neighbours in the rear only on either side of my home) should I plant the green giants? I have a garden that is 132 feet wide and at the moment have ten 3 foot trees in tubs. How much water should I give the trees in the tubs until I am able to plant them, they are all in my garage at the moment at the weather has been very very windy so I have not had them outside for 2 days.

Keep them moist but not wet till you get them planted, then they need to be watered frequently the first few months to help them get established.

Since they can grow 20 feet wide, allow about 8 to 10 feet between them and from the property line. You may like them staggered a bit rather than in a straight line.
