climbing hydrangea

I have had a climbing hydrangea now for 2 years. I moved it, as it wasn’t doing well and it’s still the same and hasn’t had any flowers – disappointed. It was in the shade and it was against the fence. It didn’t look good so I moved it to the end of the garden which gets more sun. It doesn’t seem to really like it there either. Also, it hasn’t grown much and the bark is flaky. What can I do?

You may need to do some amending of your soil. The Climbing Hydrangea need a rich, moist, and well draining soil.

Make sure your watering well to help the plant become established before winter.
