Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comor cut it off ?? The tree is producing a lot of figs so not sure if i should mess with it. Also, is it normal for them to have 2 separate harvests per yr ? About 2 months ago all the figs on it ripened and now there’s a lot of small green ones ripening now. Its never done this before – always just one harvest per yr. I live in Las Vegas, NV – not sure what zone that is. I never had a fig tree before so not sure what to do about the ‘sucker’ and the 2 different harvests. Any info from would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I would remove the sucker from the tree.
