I Hard Pruned 15 Or 20 Yr Old 8ft Eunymous Hedge To 5 Ft With Few 6 Inch Lateral Branches 3/11 Yesterday Some Branches Had New Gro

wth, did I kill them? I live in AL. The three treelike hedges were too heavy and I noticed good growth around base of trunks – will they survive? Thank you

I'll bet they will survive. Euonymus shrubs can tolerate heavy pruning, though it is best to leave more green than I see. Here is more on pruning:
