I Found A Plucked Plant Without A Root On The Street And I Want To Root It And Plant It. How Can I Do That?

I want to root this plant that I fould and plant it in soil. I think I have a Linaria Genistifolia. Someone threw it on the street without a root;the plant was probably plucked off the soil, the root was randomly cut off and the plant only has a stem, leaves, and flowers. The stem of the plant goes down to its root, I’d say. The leaves are starting to look tired, the flowers are starting to go dry. I put the plant in about 1.5 litters of water and just added fertilizer to it. I can see that the plant has new flowers growing on the top and maybe some new stems growing on the main stem. I’ve had it for like a week and a half now. Any advice?

The first thing will be to cut that flowering stalk off. Flowering hormone inhibits rooting hormone.

Next will be to hold off on nutrients. In fact, less nutrients will provide better rooting. Use a rooting hormone to make this process faster.
