I accidentally cut off a branch of my lily of the valley.

Can I split the 2 ends and tape them back together to mend. My neighbor did it to one of his fir trees and it worked of course it was small.
Any other ideas??? It’s right in front looks like a bad hair cut.lol

Lily Of The Valley are quite small and if you have cut off a piece it should not be an issue.
