Hibiscus Sun/Shade Plant

I have four hibiscus shrubs that are in containers that thrived over the winter. I was hoping and looking forward to bringing them outdoors. I do not have any instructions on this plant. Is it ok to plant during summer and repot for winter? Should I plant in the sun or shade?

If you have the hardy varieties, you can simply plant them outdoors with little maintenance during winter. However, tropical types need to be left in a container year round. You can sink the container in the growund, if desired, and then bring the plant indoors for overwintering. They need lots of sun, or bright light indoors.
