Hyacinth care

I purchased a hyacinth plant that had been started in water. Is it okay to transplant into dirt? It is a beautiful plant, and since this is my first one, I would love for it to continue.

No, you should leave the Hyacinth in the water vase to finish out it’s bloom period.
A Hyacinth bulb will bloom only once in a season. The leaves then die down and replenish the bulbs energy, the bulb goes dormant and after a chilling period, may bloom again next spring.

Here are some articles that will help you with care and growing of Hyacinth bulbs.
