Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI just bought 2 cuttings (pathos and heart shaped philodendron) from a girl and they already have roots. I was planning to put them in water but I read that once they have roots they need to be planted in soil. Is this true? If so can I plant both plants in the same 8inch pot and separate them later as they get bigger? (I only have the one pot right now) what else should I know about planting and caring for them?

I would make sure to plant them in separate containers so that they do not overcrowd, too, quickly. These articles will help:
