Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have bought a packet of black pepper seeds today and would like to know how to grow them in the UK. The seeds are Italian and recommend sowing in March, April, May and June, and harvesting from June onwards. If they are perennials, does the planting time have a bearing on the fruiting time? Do I need to keep them in a greenhouse, and if so, at what temperature?

They are perennials. And planting in those months gives you the best chance for germination. It is unlikely you will be able to harvest any the first season though. They will need to be in a greenhouse as they cannot take any cold what-so-ever. This article will be helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/herbs/peppercorn/how-to-grow-peppercorns.htm [1]
